# E-Commerce Management

E-commerce features support multi-currency and integrated payments.

All online stores can be managed at [snipcart](https://app.snipcart.com/). We will integrate all products as required.

{% hint style="info" %}
MG WebDev does not apply any transaction fees. Snipcart's standard transaction fees apply (as detailed on their pricing page). In addition to any card network or payment processor fees.
{% endhint %}

When we have created an e-commerce site for your company/project you will be tranferred ownership. When the ownership transfer is complete, you need to turn off "Test Development" mode to enable transactions on your site.

{% hint style="info" %}
We setup the website-side of E-commerce. You will need to link any payment accounts to get started yourself. This will need to be done on the Snipcart platform.
{% endhint %}

Daily operations include;

* Managing products: add descriptions, prices, variants, images, stock & inventory levels.
* Processing orders: view, update status, handle fulfillment/refunds.
* Monitor transactions.

To test if your site is fully operational, always test in when development mode is turned on.

Up to 6 payment gateways can be used.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.mgwebdev.eu/documentation/guides/e-commerce-management.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
